I might buy the new album when it comes out, cuz the music is always cool from him, but after the stunt he pulled with Family Jamm (wanting to be paid for a charity performance, the nerve!), I'd be hard-pressed to be interested in him personally.

The Downtown NYC River to River Festival 2004 is exploding with activity this summer. On June 19, River to River presents Target Children's Day and Fireworks at the South Street Seaport. The fun-filled day will include performances from the cast of Cyberchase, ZOOM, characters from Between the Lions, Mr. McFeeley from Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood and The Russian American Kids Circus on Stage. Later in the day, don't miss special performances from Ralph's World, the Big Nazo Band and the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players. Morris Day and the Time will give a very special performance at 9 p.m. that will lead us into the Target Big Oooh Aaah Fireworks spectacular at 10 p.m.!

sounds like crap mostly. With a band as powerful as THE TIME, and the rumour that they'd recorded an album called Old Dog, New Tricks a long time ago, why don't they just come out with something like that? This Morris Day stuff is ok, but give me some classic TIME. I still hold out hope for a 2/3 disk box with the greatest hits, b sides (Grace and Tricky), tracks from Corp. World and other unreleased tracks or jams and a few live tracks. Guess for now we'll have to do with this ego trip from Morris.

Does THE TIME even play on the additional tracks? I wonder how they feel about this turning into a Morris Day album. My guess is that Prince said that they couldn't use the band name.

I'm glad this is a "Morris Day" album and not a Time album because the new stuff is kinda weak and not worthy. It's sounds like some old dude trying to be hip. These songs lack the polish of a good producer. The Last Night song could be a jam but it the same stuff over and over and just is a over all let down.
Who ever said Prince has lost it - has lost it. The Kid's still got game!

The show airs on Tuesday nights, but I have no idea if it was broadcasted already..
