- Judging for the songs I heard (Musicology, Million Days, What do u want me to do, Reflection) the album is NICE, but not a masterpiece. TRC was much more interesting musically. This ´Prince is back´ thing happens because of the Grammy performance and the RR Hall of Fame induction and because it´s being released by Sony. I hope the other songs are better, although I enjoyed Million Days a lot! |

I wouldn't call it his best but it certainly is his best in years. I love it and it's in my Top 10 of favorite Prince Albums. I can play it the whole way through and it feels so great to be able to do that again. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

His best ever? Oh yeah right.
Gold Experience, 1999, Parade, Sign 'O' the Times, Purple Rain--they all easily kick the shit out of Musicology. Musicology's a great album to me, but c'mon already. And if Musicology is his best yet but only gets an 8/10, does that mean they consider albums like Purple Rain and SOTT to be albums that deserve lower scores than an 8?
