The reason the Musicology Tour opener is on March 29th in Los Angeles
and not in another city like Minneapolis, for example. Or even on a Friday or Saturday.

Scheduling. There is a Lakers basketball game on Friday March 26th against Minnesota and a Clippers basketball game on Saturday March 27th. Both dates against Minnesota actually. Another Lakers game on Sunday March 28th and on Tuesday March 30th. On Wednesday March 31th, there is an LA Kings hockey game. So Prince got squeezed into the middle. It couldn't be held at another venue or on a weekend because the concert promoter AEG LIVE owns The Staples Center and they definitely wanted the show there. It's actually AEG LIVE's Flagship venue. That's why it is the tour opener. It's publicity for the concert promoter and their venue. The Staples Center.

I bought tickets to the show on March 27th in Reno....
I wonder what show I'm getting?

It's been so long since I been there,I was a teenager !! When you have to drive on them ones with two way traffic on a narrow little road no guard rails and a looong way down....They kinda make me nervous.

are the tickets on sale right now???? I went on Ticketmaster a day or so ago, and they didn't have Cleveland,Ohio Gund Arena up yet???

Only thing different about Reno show that it isnt Center Stage but end-stage. So maybe the music played will be the same but show will be def. diff.

the drive from sacramento to reno isn't all that bad. just be extremely aware of the weather conditions (please) for your safety. when it rains down here (sac) it can really suck in the mountains. u may consider carpool. i wish i could be there, but prior commitments take precedence.

Another reason the Reno show confuses me is because its the only show that shows the stage at one end of the arena instead of center like the rest of the tour...
