A story appeard in Scottish tabloid Daily record. It was about Glasgow venue The garage and the manager was recalling Prince playing an aftershow in March 1995. "I thought it was a wind up. But I got a call saying, if you pay Prince 15,000 pounds he'l do a show at your venue. He was already playing a sell out show at the SECC that night so I wasnt expecting him to show. Finally he did and I was told not to speak to him unless he spoke to me. Finally around 1:30 a.m he still wasnt onstage so I went up to him and said curtly "Here's your 15,000. Better go onstage before there was a riot", and he went on and gave a great show".
