Each frequently posts opinions on X. They are not hesitant to express themselves in person, either, though English said Londell McMillan, co-manager of the Prince estate, would not call on him during Celebration’s Q&A segment of the “Future and the Vault” panel.

I don't understand why it's an A+ day when the estate does the minimum, i.e. an hour of unreleased music and previously unreleased live video. That should happen *every day*.

Thanks for the backdoor link... doesn't sound like we've missed much. Londell whining because we arent patient enough lol. I appreciate that they are 'trying' but trying and doing are 2 different things. Last year's Celebration was a shitshow...this year was an improvement but not a significant one. To only have 1 cd of unreleased material in 4 years is shameful. They haven't even given us any idea what or when we can expect anything in the future. So much for them promising to improve the way they were going to let us know their plans. Sounds like there arent many.

If I read correctly, the unofficial Prince activities are the ones these 2 superfans really had the most positive reaction to. Seems like there needs to be an "unofficial" celebration itinerary instead of the estate's "offficial" one...

Once again Mac Millon ...... is a shit show.
Amazing that people that have no real talent for curation of legacy and what the latest tech is for doing so get to run the estate.
THis dude has shit his pants repeatedly for how many years.
Here are few things that should have already been done.
1. Prince subscription service
Outtakes, Demos, alt configs, and live concerts with filters by year, band, songs, and statistics. How many times played. last played. etc. As stuff is available ie digitized it shows up.
Artwork, photos, and fashion
Stems for remixing
a true forum community
2. 1 Super deluxe Per year & one Major Concert deluxe release. The rehearsal, soundcheck, Show, and After show. i
3. Every Qtr at Paisley a Prince era band is booked to play a special concert. ie revolution birthday, npg Miami East and West 94
4. More Duane Books
5. A proper bi coastal send off to prince with revolution and NPG and guest players and singers
6. Weigh if this should travel every couple of years to 5-10 major cities formerly aalloca member since 7-24-2003 till my profile got stuck

This is great in theory. . In reality, Prince couldn't make the NPG Music Club work when he was alive, promoting it and giving away the best seats in the house at his shows. . Who wants to double their Spotify subscription fee with another subscription that's only Prince? . There's a reason even the biggest artists on the planet right now, aren't doing this. The churn rate would be huge. People would sign up, rip their favorite songs and unsubscribe. People already have multiple subscriptions for multiple services. I don't think there's any appetite with the general public for another subscription service. . It might gain traction with hardcore fans, but there aren't many of us anymore. I doubt enough to cover the setup and ongoing costs. . Great in theory, but in the harsh light of day, it's a none starter.
