I have always been drawn to the song It; one of my favorites on SOTT. It is haunting to me as well. Evokes a somewhat melancholy emotion in me that I cannot explain.

"IT" is very "When Doves Cry"-ey.

i remember hearing that mashed-up part in the 'All Mixed Up' megamix and thinking, "EXACTLY!!!"

I said it many times here, it is one of my favorite SOTT tracks.

It's bloody fantastic !!!!

The first beat... Its haunting, it's weird, it's danceable and it isn't, the continuous beat with just the synth bass... oh man!, it's mysterious, it's horny as hot honey, his vocals are like a crime, the samples are goofy, doing it doing it doint it, all the time, a singing guitar, great breaks, a plastic sounding track even but a great one, i just it was 10 minutes longer.

Not one of the strongest songs on SOTT, but still great, and the instrumental section for the last 2 mins or so is brilliantly atmospheric. I prefer it to Hot Thing and IGBABN.

Its basically a filler track but a great one.
Its a prince sex song at its most obvious, but its so intense, it becomes one of his most passionate and weirdly anguished vocals

If I was making a “single CD” version of Sign, “It” is the first thing I cut.
I’ve been informed that my opinion is worth less than those expressed by others here.

"It" is amazing. Thats why it was on Crystal Ball which I considered his greatest album I call this era his super genius period because almost everything he recorded was genius

Nah I never thought of it as filler. It has a build up and breakdown. I think he could have overdubbed more stuff in it like a girl moaning

The album literally fits on a single CD without cutting a damn thing. It's a "double album" like 1999, only double in the LP age. Any CDR burning program will accomodate SOTT on one disc.
