I hate podcasts.
Did anyone find and listen to this? Cliffs?

It's on Apollonia's YT channel. Between the two of them, they agree he could be cringe and controlling. She talks about the various songs he proposed for her and on which she contributed, shows some (very 80s Paula Abdul-looking) video that he had her create for Fantastia Erotica, and talks about how she tried to move past him but the media didn't want to talk about anything else.

Yeah, blame the media for the fact that she's drug herself up since 2016 and put herself out there.

Yeah, blame the media for the fact that she's drug herself up since 2016 and put herself out there.

She was talking about the period right after their breakup, late 80s.

Forgot to mention they also had an interesting segment where she and Apollonia talked about how much they (and Vanity, and Diamonds and others) resembled each other.

That Prince, he sure had a standard MO. Rush a girl/woman hard in the beginning, get her hooked, isolate her (sounds like Anna spent a LOT of time in Europe), then give just enough keep her in his camp - and when it suited him, in his bed.

I never knew he promised her (and her friends) that they were slated for Graffiti Bridge. She called Paisley one day and found out that – not only was the film already in production – but shooting had nearly wrapped. Without her. That's what ended them.

Prince had a type, that's no surprise (but maybe to them?)
But don't we all?

Everyone I know, who's been married or in long-term relationships, generally picks the same type of person.

Having a type isn't a bad thing, so there's no need to make excuses for Prince.

Is it because they sometimes expose unpleasant and probable truths about your popular icons or is it an attention span issue?

Ah. That explains a lot. So it is the attention span.

But in the end the only reason she has a YouTube channel or followers etc...is because of the controlling Prince. We get it, he had a type, a way he was especially with protégés early in his career but let's not draw the line at the ladies, firing jam and lewis though now it's the best thing that ever happened to them, the hanging up in Paul Peterson because he thought the Family album needed to be promoted and toured, so he wanted to branch out and prince said "see ya"
