Half of the Lovesexy songs are on the list which I think is great as it's a rather overlooked album for some Prince fans.

Very happy to see WDC as #1. I will never forget hearing it played on the radio for the first time and how mind-blowing it was. There was absolutely nothing like it ever! It's a great song even without the bass..... biggrin

Like others - this is strangely close to my top songs... even the oddball ones...

Emotional Pump? Im shocked to even see that on here!

It's interesting that many of the die hards list WDC as their favorite (myself included).. because it was such a big hit and those hits are often overplayed or 'dont belong' to us, they are more for the public..

It would be like saying your favorite Madonna song is Like A Virgin.. her die hards would cringe and assume you aren't a true fan bc you love the huge hit..

WDC seems to escape that trap....its just so DAMN GREAT

Fact. There is just nothing ever wrong with this song. It can just only get better if there were an extended 10 minute version with extra parts or segues into Traffic Jam somehow

Eh. I always find rankings like this full of peculiar choices, but I'm happy certain songs ranked and got their due. Seeing Purple Music, Le Grind, And Feel U Up warmed my heart. I don't get I wish U Heaven, Moonbeam Levels or Power Fantastic, but I bet that thriled some here.

I Wish U Heaven (Part 1, 2 & 3) is easily in my personal top 10.

The "Take this beat, I don't mind" section is sooo wicked and funky tha could fill every dancefloor!

What a banger.

I would put Glam Slam over Erotic City, Glam Slam is so original as Erotic City is kinda of an cover of White Horse

Maybe more original, but that chorus is corny as F. Sounds like a commercial jingle. EC is... the opposite of corny. It's just nasty. His best b-side.

The chorus of Glam Slam is arguably very catchy as well. Find myself singing it at any given time

Yes, like a commercial jingle for chewing gum or something.

Glam Slam did tank as a single in terms of being an earworm.
