Michael Howe’s office is in Nashville and the tapes are at an Iron Mountain facility in California. That’s one hell of a commute (2000 miles), no wonder it’s taking him so long to find and release things. I’d move next door, for easy access.
There may or may not be something coming!

Estate is unable to meet `deadlines` like that.

(remember my rants about strategy, plans, etc)

What deadline?

.

Are you serious?

When you want to release an XX years anniversary set, you'd want to do that in the anniversary year, right?

This date/year presents itself as a deadline.

.

Or would you want to see a PR 25 year anniversary set right now? (with stuff that is not in the SDE of course such as a properly mastered album)

.

This is because the 'Howe' operation is just that.

It is slow and shows no sign of the need for speed.

This means that the Estate and WB are completely out of even understanding the landscape, let alone control it.

Speculation? No, how else would on explain this? Occam's razor, etc.

Also: nothing is what it appear to be.

Except, they never stated they wanted to release "anniversary" sets. It's your assumption, which so far has no basis (1999 deluxe released in 2019, Sott released in 2020, ypu do the math).

I wrote when.

If they just want to spew out one-off SDE's at the antiquated WB-pace, they can do whatever they please.

What are you on about??
You're just making up some anniversary release strategy that doesn't exist at the Estate to complain they are not using it properly and some non existent deadline regarding that.

To use your logic, maybe they are waiting for 2026 to reach an equally valid 'deadline'.

Did you even read?

There is no strategy, I proclaimed many, many moons ago.

The estate. How and WB is one goalless entity that every now and then poops out an SDE as a one-off project.

They are too stupid to see the need for consistency.

.

In a normal world they would take the anniversary stuff into account (when practical) and release stuff accordingly.

But no, they act like the old, antiquated WB of the 90's.

I need Evolsidog yesterday! music Jeez, that's our Prince. There's a section in the Nagoya 1989 show where he used a similar steel drum type sound if I recall (might be wrong, think it was Murph Drag). Funky as f@%!.

By the way,

we live in a normal world.

You should try it.

I try to be happy with whatever they release, simple as that.

Dispite all the frustration and negative outlets, we will never ever get to hear it all.

Take peace with that, and all you can get is a win.

Do you expect to even get an answer or anything like that?

The fact that you do not appear to even grab that the Estate/Wb/Howe/whatevr thing produces relative crap at a slow pace says plenty.
