Coming for certain members of the United States of Afrika populace...990 unreleased Prince songs, with the Undertaker "extended" album up first...

THIS AIN'T NO RUMOR...THIS IS ACTUAL FACT!

How you get the songs...you may have to do a lot of community service or something to hear them and even then...if you're not part of the NA KHI/OSU collective/Protectorate system, you won't get to keep the songs, though you'll get to hear all eventual...10,000+ Prince songs...

Given how Prince was treated by w---- guys and even some w---- girls...no offense...they won't get to hear them at all(guys)...girls(racist or not)...YOU STILL WON'T GET TO KEEP THEM or even hear all of them!

ALL HIp-----'S OPTION!

Other "races" of people...it's my option whether you get it or not...I'm hearing of stories of a GRENADE being thrown toward Prince, during the "Nude" tour(2 people DIED)...and the YAKUZA targeting Prince, when he was over there! So...pretty much...Prince's new music...(20,000+ songs...OOPS...did I say 20,000+ Prince songs or 10,000+ Prince songs? You can go back a little and read...ANYWAY! I'm also, hearing that Prince Rogers (my last name was his real last name) was actually BOOED at half of his concerts AND NOT BY BLACK PEOPLE(who loved him from the beginning)! pRiNCe's music is for his Family(BLACK/aFrICAN people)!

Prince is FOREVER!

New Futurians...Vizions...Peace(especially to James L. Wilson and the Protectorate) and like P said..."Be Wild"..."NOTHING can stop....!" This NEW GENERATION!

What are you smoking ? I'm interested lol lol

Rumour has it that the next release will be a compilation of outtakes featuring Tony M. I unironically want this.

To accompany Diamond s and Pearls, they should released a few months after Goldnigga.
Just like Crystal Ball was supposed to be released initially a few months after SOTT deluxe.
Just sayin'...

It's looking highly unlikely we will get another release this year. I will give up all hope if there is nothing announced by the end of this week.

D&P is musically a masterpiece. Prince created a whole new sound, very eclectic and combining every genre. I can't understand the fans saying he followed trends with this album. That was the first time there was hip/hop rap with true instrumentals played by true musicians, not just a sample loop. Lyrically, it was also self-mocking, prefiguring Eminem. It seemed like, for the 1st time in his carreer, Prince was really having fun. Commercially, it wasn't that successful, considering the numbers of hits, music videos, promotion, tv performances, amd all the work put behind these choregraphoes and scenographies! I think the lack of US tour prevented it for selling more than 3 millions there.

It did follow trends. Prince was not hip hop of any merit at that point, not even New Jack Swing. Prince was in his own lane..then he stopped up to this point. Successful singles and three good album tracks (Daddy Pop, Walk Don't Walk and Push). The album as a whole doesnt fit well together however. Prince had too much competition up to this point to do too much to the charts...being that he has been on the scene for 10 years.

He had to go against U2, Michael Jackson, Garth Brooks, Guns and Roses and Nirvana in the same time his album came out.

There was no way boo.

Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

That's your opinion, to me these are all very strong tracks, besides Insatiable that was just rehash of Scandalous.

To me, New Jack Swing was just some losers trying to imitate the voice of Prince and MJ, without the talent to compose a real good melody.

When you listen to songs of the Time circa Purple Rain, it really does sound New Jack before it was named like that.

And to me it was always obvious " Jack Sound " Was a intended pun on "Jackson".

Prince did try rap/hip hop before D&P : Irresistible Bitch dates back to 1981, of course The Black Album in 1987, some tracks on Graffiti Bridge... And he was already sampled in 1990/91, so it seems Prince was already hipped-hopped.

And don't forget The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lenny Kravitz, who were also making it big in that year.
If you take any of this seriously, you're a bigger fool than I am.

Like I said, all the guys that work that year were doing the same genre of music during their whole respective album.

The exception being MJ, but 9 singles to make " only " What Nirvana did with only four, prove my saying that eclectic music has hard time to sell.
And MJ was on the market like ten years before Prince.

On Prince twitter and Facebook, the profile picture (or whatever it’s called) has changed from a W2A one to what seems to be one from about 2013-14.

https://mobile.twitter.co...r%5Eauthor

https://pbs.twimg.com/pro...7/1500x500

Can anyone place this photo? And does it give a clue to the next direction?

Edit: To answer my own question, photo is from Smukfest, Denmark on 7 August 2013 when Moonbeam Levels was played for the first time in over 30 years ( http://princevault.com/in...ugust_2013 )

Friday is also normally release day, so maybe an announcement plus first single?
I would be highly surprised if they don't do something special to mark this date.

With David Bowie’s 18LP SDE ( https://superdeluxeeditio...1992-2001/ ) out in November, I’d be surprised if there’s any space at record plants to make any other SDE this year. I’m not expecting any big Prince release announcement this week/this side of Xmas.
There may or may not be something coming!

Probably just to recognise the 30th Anniversary.

But there is still a tiny glimmer of hope.

I'm all for it
Maybe WB and the estate can come to a agreement and make it happen
Can you imagine hearing the full version of "electric chair" in crystal clear quality? Plus the original version from 1986 of "the future"?
Batman is the album that made me a Prince fan so ofcourse I want it
