I wrote this up a couple years ago:

3 miles from my house. In this cemetery lies Dinah Jenkins, the daughter of slaves, raised among the plantations surrounding Bayou Rapides. Her offspring fled Louisiana to Minnesota, during Jim Crow to avoid persecution. Two generations later, Mrs. Jenkins’ great-grandchild picked up a guitar. His name was PRINCE.

Dinah Jenkins' daughter was Carrie who married Clarence Nelson. Their son was John L. Nelson

Here is Prince's full ancestry I created. Feel free to share.

That P full ancestry doesn't work or you have to sign up on ancestry and pay something to see it?

Apparently, sister Tyka was the gatekeeper of the family history and had some geneaological records. Prince even asked her for information while he was writing his memoir.

By now, his ancestry has likely been researched as far back as possible (and yes, one past relation was white). It's even more likely that his DNA has been analyzed.

Tyka has the opportunito to write a book about the family. I wish she would.

I think she should I would read it for sure. As a memeber of Ancestry DNA I have connected up to 200 people in my family tree.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER provide DNA samples to any website!!!!!!!!

DNA samples are sold on for DNA profiling and become a DNA database. Even if you are innocent you can be indicted into also sorts of things you will soon regret!!!!

DNA records are now BIG business just like when companies sell on our other personal information such as email address etc etc.

People need to learn how to stay 'digital safe'.

Found the conspiracy theorist! Let me guess, your tinfoil hat is on a little too tight today. Leave that shit for another forum. Leave this forum and go revel with your QAnon brothers and sisters. You garbage poster.

Why is Prince's name in quotes, like it's not his real name. IT IS.Nothing like amateur geneaology.

Nothing new there; we've seen that for years.

Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

,

You did not click very well.

You did not contact the author of the genealogy data to ask about the naming.

.

Look again at the original link I posted.

Look real close.

.

If that doesn't help, then try this one: https://www.genealogieonl...85848.php.

See a pattern here?
