Purple Ancestry?

I wonder How far could Prince traced his ancestry on ancestry.com? I bet that would have been really cool to see his family tree?

Has anyone on here used this? smile

Plenty of info in https://www.goodreads.com...-1958-1988 . There was also an article in a Minneaplois magazine or website that went deep into his roots.

Apparently, sister Tyka was the gatekeeper of the family history and had some geneaological records. Prince even asked her for information while he was writing his memoir.

By now, his ancestry has likely been researched as far back as possible (and yes, one past relation was white). It's even more likely that his DNA has been analyzed.

Tyka has the opportunity to write a book about the family. I wish she would.

Why would anyone want to analyze his DNA? That's silly.

You don't need a sample if it's already been analyzed. You just get the resulting chart -- and yes, it's nothing underhanded to obtain it if you are a family member.

FFS, really?
Are you part of the "he was murdered" insanity club?

There was a two-year-long investigation into his death. You really think they smacked themselves in the head last year and said "why didn't we get his DNA"?
His DNA was analyzed as part of the investigation into his death. They used it to see who had left DNA on the pill bottles, etc. It was all his own DNA.

Did they really? They who?

This says no "fingerprints" were collected in this article:

Wish I could copy and paste what it says there but their website won't let a person do that....

They make some very good points in their article! hhhhhmmmm

DNA doesn't have to be fingerprints.

His DNA was on the bottles.

Also as has been pointed out in other threads Duane Nelson is NOT related to John Nelson nor was he related to P.

Tyka has said some very strange things since Prince's passing that made people scratch their heads like 'Huh? What did she just say?' so I don't know if I would want to read a book that she wrote. I'm not shading Tyka. I have much love and respect for her but sometimes she's just out there in left field, kind of like Ingrid Chavez.

WHAT secretive Illuminati "powerful people" could do anything with a chart? My God, there are millions of DNA results on 23AndMe, Anccestry, etc.

If the family used his DNA to produce a family tree, what would "very very powrful people" do with it that anyone else couldn't?

I'm not into conspiracies. Sorry.

Where can I see these records?

Elaborate ones, more than https://www.genealogieonl...285933.php

Well,

if one clicks a bit one finds gems like: https://www.genealogieonl...I52404.php

It shows some french roots which are actually from the Viking direction.

So possibly Prince's (white) family and mine were joined in the Viking era or later.

It appears that Prince, through his mother, is related to the Vikings, the Franks and even to the royal house of Kiev.

This is, I guess, fairly typical for people of European descent that have a family tree that reaches back to he nobles of the (late) middle ages.

I am in the process of copying the tree to see the distances to various peoples like Winston Churchill or Darius I.
