Japanese release of Super Deluxe Edition of Welcome 2 America postponed to August 25

Tweet by Sony / Legacy Japan (translated):

.

[Notice of change in release date]

.

Scheduled to be released on July 30th

.

Although it is a completely new work "Welcome 2 America <Limited Edition / Super Deluxe Edition>", the release date will be postponed to August 25 due to the delay in the arrival of imported materials.

It appears only the SDE is involved. Note that the Japan-only two-disc set (CD + Blu-ray) is still scheduled for 30 July, so the delay does seem to be due to the other bonus items in the box set. (Perhaps the vinyl?)

If this means the SDE will be delayed worldwide, then the Japan exclusive two-disc set (CD + Blu-ray) will be the only way to obtain the concert video until the end of August.

I already told you that months ago.
Every new releases from the estate has been postponed, the initial date releases were never fulfilled.

With their crazyness of including a forced vinyl with W2A, it caused already a 3 months and a half needed for the preorders.
With the vinyl production crisis, it takes now 5 months between the initial preprder qnd the release date.

Why am I always right?
Where are the dushes who sqid Crystal Ball would be release this year?

I already explained here many times the vinyl was the cause of the delay.

Except that the 3 months and an half wait was already a delay in itself. Albums used to be announced 1 month and an half/2 months before the release.

Now that vinyl sales are increasing months after months, with only the same 10 plants in the world producing them. So, it s obvious there s a supply problem, that affected every estate releases, and will still do.

That's why initial plans for Crystal Ball were given up, like I predicted it months ago, against all opinions.

That double-treat vinyl+CD is already delayed in Japan, so it will likely be delayed worldwide.

True, I was wrong for what, one month left in the year. And I was glad to be ptoven wrong, cause I liked this release.

And the dush refused to deal, considering 99% of my predictions were fulfilled.
That's why I m still there, because he didn't even have the balls to make a deal on the internet. Or am I fucking myself?

It s so cool to have a fan club of trolls who have nothing else to do of their time to find a quote from me two years ago, and embellish.
I don't even remember you on the org ( I don't usually read the names, and the avatar are too small on my smartphones), so thanks for your time !

Yes - seems to me that the original tweet is saying that the delay is due to importing the album to Japan from the US, not that the Deluxe (or the album in general) will be delayed elsewhere.

There are far more plants than ten.

You probably read the same article that's doing the rounds, stating there are not enough plants. Well that's not entirely correct.

In Europe alone there are 39 big plants.

Not to mention the lesser known ones for indie labels, etc.

'Record Industry' for example is a big plant with almost 40/50K pressings a day.

The problem is not the amount of plants. There jsut are too few raw materials, and deliveries are therefore lagging behind. due to covid etc.

-

Here a list of vinyl pressing plants in Europe alone, popular ones in countries like;

Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Switserland, Sweden, U.K.,

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Finland, Germany etc.

If you want to have a list, there ya go ;

-

https://www.livetrigger.com/magazine/underground-guides/best-vinyl-pressing-plants/

-

And that's not all of it.

Apparently, there are worldwide approx. 800 vinyl plants from what i've been told.

Japan, China, Brazil and India are becoming the big supliers of the future.

They are constantly building new plants to answer the demand.

-

Be more careful with predictions.

Yes, sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't.

I'll never bet with anyone.

My mother always said that gambling is for losers - not my words though. wink

Peace to us all.

My God, 800 plants and I said there was 10 ? That's a fucking gap indeed!
Fuck, and not a fucking plant able to provide W2A deluxe in Japan? Not one dedicated to Crystal Ball? That's really bad luck wink
