the work done by the Estate since the deluxe of 1999 is more and more qualitative, however I do not believe that it is going to last, moreover I find that these reissues are carried out according to a commercial perspective and not to honor the quality of the career of Prince, why no reissues of the albums in the chronological order, why no 4u, Prince, Dirty mind, controversy etc..... I am extremely worried for the future !

Those records didn't even sell well when Prince was a superstar. It makes perfect sense the Estate are focusing on the big sellers and classics, and not on for instance the two earliest records. (That I even have to explain this superbasic thing...)

I've listened to part of this, looked at the track list.

I'm confused. I honestly don't understand why it's 4 CDs of shit we've had every conceivable copy of, besides an actual release from the estate. They didn't even put in the newer "New Position" verison with Clare's strings through it. Just old rehash.

And I had "Neurotic" and gave it to a someone who then first mentioned it on here.

It all just seems incredibly unnecessary.

point of view: you just sold 500 copies at 50 dollars a pop to a group of airheads and all you had to part with was 15 extra seconds of guitar noodling at the end of shockadelica

Off topic for a second. I have made a very crude browser extention that does that. I'm only a novice coder and I'm sure if a profesional coder looked at how I've made it they'll probably laugh, but it does the job. If you preset a username it'll remove any forum posts by, or that mention said username. Quite handy for users who troll / waste time. If anyone wants a copy please PM me.

I'm sorry...but I enjoy this a lot ...even it several songs were available formerly..so what...the sound is great...and looking back to the eighties when we only got about 9 songs a year..I didn't complain even if I could ....now in these digitital years...I am overflowed by Prince songs..I can't listen to all of them, because of free time...I would never complain about it...I often think..and don't say it...but to all these criticals...sit down, enjoy....or...not...but if you are not satisfied..erm...shut up and do something else...painting ? cleaning ? bycicle ? cook ?...just sayin'..

Why are so many people bitching about a bootleg Prince album they don't have to buy if they already have the tracks? Just ignore it and move on. I could maybe understand it if the estate released redundant material like a greatest hits package or some shit but this is just some bootleg company doing what bootleg companies do.

If there's enough new shit on there that you don't have, then buy it. If you already have most of it, then go listen to that. Astonishingly, I sometimes DON'T buy things if I don't sense the value.
