Howard Stern Arsenio Hall interview-Prince

Just listened to replay of recent Arsenio Hall Stern interview. First topic Stern talked to him about was the Prince performance on Arsenio. Arsenio talked about how Prince being in LA wanting to hangout and they went to a after hours club. Great interview. I still wish Prince would've went on Sterns show. Just in case anyone is interested, sirius app still has interview.

Whoa, Arsenio was on Howard's show??? When was this?

I guess they made up, because their first interview in 1987 didn't go so well, lol.

Arsenio mentioned he played on his show 3 xs. I believe ,but could be wrong,Stern was referencing the Sept 1991 performance.

Idk if prince could've handled stern's criticism.Stern is often rude to every guest he gets on there.
From what I heard prince was at point going to do the show but canceled at the last minute some time in the year 2000.
It would have been very memorable

When he made that first interview with Tavis on BET, at one point Tavis mentioned the press and remarked “they dogged you” and the way he said it was so aggressive the pain visibly showed on Prince’ face. Imagine him being on Howard show who had a reputation of treating his guest in the most deplorable way (especially around that era). I don’t think Prince engaged with shock jock personalities and I’m glad he didn’t, agreed though it would’ve been memorable, it depends whether it would’ve been bad or good.
