Ez 2 get around. Convert the files 2 any other format and problem solved.

I never got around to getting a physical copy of Madhouse 16, I'm sure I will at some point. There's a shop in Talbot Street called Bookmart/GameXchange that sell some really rare Prince CDs. I got Emancipation, N.E.W.S., Ice Cream Castles and the Lotusflow3r triple pack. More often than not you probably won't find anything of note but it's worth a check whenever you're in town next. Mind you, I haven't been in there in over a year so the shop might not even be there anymore for all I know.

Ah thanks, I'm well versed in the life of second hand music stores! There used to be about 20 of them back in the day, almost all gone now.

I unfortunately deleted the original files from my pc after a couple of the songs went missing so the 'license' was deleted along with it. Never thought it would be a problem since I had some hard copies saved but I still can't burn new copies from those hard copies.

Thanks for the info. Yes, the hard copies will play in my bluray player that's hooked up to my receiver and in my newer car cd player. I am rather computer illiterate so I don't know how to convert the files. I had a co-worker make some hard copies for me but even those I can't make copies of.....

Jill Jones is the one for me. I have mentioned before...have it on cassette and ripped a copy on CD years ago and the sound is horrendous. i have the 12" singles from the album (which I cherish), but not the actual album. Vinyl or CD, I don't care. It's my fave Paisley album (outside of Prince of course).

I'm always hoping that the Estate eventually does limited edition CD physical releases of things like C-Note, The SlaughterHouse, Chocolate Invasion, the Anthology and the 1985 Syracuse concert instead of just streaming them.

I track by missing songs, not by album.

I just bought for example Kiss 12" for 2 Euros in a good condition...and buy expensive vinyl verrsions of P music i owned on CD like Musicology, 3121, Planet Earth, Rainbow children and that is sooo cool to hold in my hands

You have to find one of the copies of the Black Album that has the little black and white UPC sticker attached to the back of the actual jewel case. Those are the real ones. I've seen copies go for around $25, which would be a good deal.

The fake gold ones are almost perfect-unless you compare it to a real one and you can see that the image clarity isn't the same (on the inside of the jewel case artwork).
