I wonder if it could be ‘The Dawn’? Prince spoke about this album, saying “the world isn’t ready for this”.

When was it that you think he said that?

Until I find the righteous one...

Nah, that gives off creepy Emancipation vibes. 3 cds, red, symmetrical design. Albums should be compact, always less than 1 cd in length. Otherwise they sound bloated. Even The White Album had its misfires. As did Sign of the Times arguably.

Track listing for what should be 'The Dawn' (or The Grand Progression as alternative title).

Cross The Line

Rebirth of the Flesh

The Line (w organ higher up in mix as in pt 2)

Last Heart
Wintersong (87 version)
The Sex Of It
Adonis & Bathsheba
Jealous Girl (short version)
Crystal City Cry
Everybody Want What They Don't Got
Cool Love
Candle Dance (87 version)
Crucial
Good Love
The Grand Progression

The world's problems like climate change can only be solved through strategic long-term thinking, not expediency. In other words all the govts. need sacking!

If you can add value to someone's life then why not. Especially if it colors their days...

We'd like to hear some of those unheard tracks before they ever decide to compile such a disc

Someone will correct me if I’m wrong, but I recall him saying this in a Rolling Stone magazine article from the 90s.I believe it was after ‘Emancipation’.

Seems just like something someone made up based on the stories about the vastness of the vault. There are bound to be albums he put together that remain (mostly) unreleased... We know there were several projects at various stages that were dropped.

And sure maybe Joe WHO? was told that or heard that? but the person that said it did not have any inside info and was just talking our of the side if their neck.

Heck there may well be vaults of songs they have not found...(he said there are several vaults)

Just as you are?
