Yes, because in this case they just cut Prince from the original artwork, to put it in a white font.

this is all just speculation based on a very low quality picture, but does it look like it's just going to be the studio album? looking at the thickness of the CD case as presented in the picture, it looks like it could possibly contain another cd or two, or if not another cd then a booklet of sorts, pictures, etc?

i'm going to be ROCKING OUT to w2a all summer long regardless, but i wonder how far they've gone with the era/concept here or if they've just decided to stick to the album as purportedly finished and sequenced in 2011... it'd be nice (and they could charge more!) if they also had a live set, not that i think this is a particularly worthwhile time in his live canon, or maybe a disc of additional material that was considered for the album/present on any alternate sequences? or maybe it's just the album.

July 30th is the rumored release.

Also rumor says that a DVD of the concert will be included.

even if the songs aren't as good as i'm expecting them to be (and to be fair, i'm kind of expecting greatness out of a few of these tracks, and several such as 1k light years and when she comes are already fucking fantastic...) this has potential to be the most interesting vault release thus far. originals was a mess, the sde's were great (and woefully incomplete...), but nothing released so far has really been revelatory, and i think this album has that potential to really shine new light on this stage of his career, and provide a listening experience that'll feel great and fresh.

Of course they were wrong, I was the first to point out an april release for CB was impossible, and months before that it was obvious that Sony gave up on the post-WB reissues
