And, even before official announcement, we always had leaks before from preorder links. I don't know how it is in the USA but here the virus has meant noone is in the office and everyone working at about 25%.. Maybe the personell involved simply havent got it together yet Naw office workers are working at home or in their building things are still moving. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

Because they're a bunch of wanders who don't know what they're doing. At first I was willing to give them time to release the newest stuff he was working on - black is the new black, new mplsound, 2nd 3rd eye, welcome 2 America - all in the can. Give them chance, milk it a little but then some real new music for the fans in between or after a little wait. We're getting towards 5 years people. It's depressing. It's great to have vault stuff - but please, some newer exciting where he was at at the end stuff. Suffice to say - I have much lower hopes than ever to what they will release and hoovering up old bootleg vinyls, as the recent reissues as well as being things gang could've waited are heftily over priced and no option just to buy the discs of vault, concert stuff. The last two set of releases have been paired with an excellent podcast series. They probably want to do the same with the next releases and that is something that will definitely have been delayed by Coronavirus

i think you have to be patient. hendrix's estate have taken two decades to release stuff in a new context that was released in the 70s, and they took over in the mid-late 90s. i dont expect princes estate to be rushing stuff out. they are doing this probably with a long term plan. there will still be new releases in 2040.

- No, we're not - or better, i do not agree. We're getting old(er), and that's a problem for us half-century agers, but also for them. We 45+ and 50+'s are the ones spending loads of $. That well eventually will run dry... - "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves.

- Agree. The speed how they release Bowie's stuff is uncomparable. They should keep on eye on that. Since David Bowie died in January 2016, this has been released : - 22 full posthumous releases, be it; - Live albums, - full albums (some unreleased), - a few SDE box sets, (one of the boxes included 15 LP's, or 11 CD's, etc) - 2 singles-boxes (7 inch boxes), - several re-releases, remastered, etc - picture disc releases both 7" and 12" vinyl formats and - 7 posthumous singles have been released with airplay success - 4 posthumous video's - 3 posthumous full documentaries - several books, etc - Do I need t go on? -

But almost zilch unreleased songs. What they already released for Prince is literally more than one hundred unreleased tracks

- Agree ! I too have very low hopes here. it's all going way too slow. Look at David Bowie's legacy... and how those fans are treated. Basically on a weekly basis with info, video's stories, etc And several times a year new, remastered, and live releases ! - "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves.

Compared to Prince reissues?

If I was you, I'd go and listen to some other music, you might like it. You had alot of music on the re-release SOTT to listen to, give them chance to work on something.

The pace of releases has been fine. I prefer quality of quantity any day and the SOTT deluxe will be extremely hard to top. Certainly would be great to here "new" music, something from the HNR era. 1 over Jordan...the greatest since
