It’s out there and will be available tomorrow. I saw a video about the release from a record store in Arizona and they showed they had (2). I physically saw them amongst their collection of RSD releases. So it’s not cancelled.

In NJ USA- I called my local store and they don’t have it - maybe cancelled.

I went to the 2 stores listed in the RSD site, one said he had 5 copies and sold them all (I was there 10 minutes after they opened and did not see anyone leaving with them in their hand, so who knows) and the other store said it was delayed and possibly only a Euroean release so again, who knows.

My local recordstore had 4 and after buying one on saturday I bought another one from him yesterday after deciding that it might be a nice collectable if it's still sealed, it took 3 days for him to sell all 4 in his stock, so I guess not many fans care for this thing.
Is this thing really limited to 13000 pressings?

My daughter went to a store for me in Arizona and when she got there at 7am, they said the shipping was delayed and they'd have them in later in the morning (they told her they would give her a call wjhen they arrive). She got a call around 9am to say they were in, and that she can come down to get it. She wasn't able to get down until after 3pm, and they still had all 8 of the original stock available. She bought me (2) copies. In the meantime, I was able to buy a copy online from Amoeba Records when they opened for their virtual RSD on Saturday...

Looks like only 6000 pressings according to the RSD website

I like this and bought one. Photographic picture disks alway conpromise image quality and it feels weird to spin them. And the modern trend for splattered tie-dye style stuff only fits certain genres. This one is a purer piece of design.

Just bought it from Amazon UK (third party seller) for the RRP of £39.99

Sounds like a lot of folks don't intend opending their copies, let alone play them. This, I can understand.

I was curious enough to open mine (carefully though, by running a knife along the open edge so the shrinkwrap stays intact). and I gave it a spin too.

Frankly, it's a terrible pressing - as are all picture discs really. Very noisy to my ears and I'm not much of an audiophile.

My advice, just keep it to collect it. (Or return it). But don't play it.

Ps. Mine was imported from Denmark to the UK. There may be better pressings out there but I imagine they're all the same.

All of my hang-ups have gone. How I wish you felt the same.

yeah, picture discs never really have great sound. It's just a collector's item that you can display.
