Just got an email from Amazon stating itls delayed with no new delivery date or explanation, just "we'll get back to you". I will not order Prince releases from Amazon again.

Order placed for SOTT Super Deluxe cd set with the Prince Estate Store on September 26. Received announcement that order shipped 28 September. Amazed. Checking status... still 'in transit to USPS facility'. I'll reply to this message when package arrives!

Yeah....that's what I thought this time.
I'd always ordered them through Prime.

But I ordered from the Estate on June 25th and it *might* ship October 12th.
Did they seriously only put together 73 of these sets or what?

I just checked the order and it says "shipped"....but USPS tracking says "Label created on 25 September" (four days ago) but USPS is awaiting the shipment.

So I guess Music Today is just printing labels so the status changes.

I think the estate needs to contract with a different company because even an amateur could do better (ie, if one part of the shipment is ready, send it!)

Mine is supposed to arrive today. But I am KICKING myself for ordering thru Amazon instead of getting it at the local record store. They need my business and I would be enjoying a scuff-free copy right now!!

I just checked with Amazon customer service; they said my order is "entered into the shipping process" and will be late as there is a "limited supply". It's also backordered on ImportCD's. I think it's going to be quite a while until I receive this, if ever.

Just got an email from Amazon US that mine has shipped TODAY!!! WOO-HOOOOO!!!

That's absurd.

They seem so fixated on not printing one copy more than necessary that they underestimated demand for two sets in a row now.... Two sets in a row that... won't people just go online and buy at inflated prices from some dude selling their copy?

They're clearly rushing to print more sets now for these "October" delivery date people.... Won't turning back on ceased production... cost them more money?

At other forums people are returning their scratched discs in droves... Won't replacing all these sets because of their dumb slide pocket packaging... cost them more money?

Yet right now they're probably only printing like an extra 12 sets to save them money.... k. Make it make sense...

You would think they had a set number of pre orders they could have used to produce the numbers needed to print the first set or at the least looked at the numbers for 1999 Deluxe.

Well, Amazon offered me a $5.00 credit for my inconvenience. $5.00 froma a company I have spent $$$ at for a few years! I told them to shove it (more politely, of course). I anticipate getting one of those returned scuffed up copies in a few weeks.

Next release, I will go back to buying from the estate.

And next week I'm going to visit PP so perhaps I'll get a copy there. It will be a very worthy souvenir.

My Estate-ordered SDE album set NOW shows that it's entered the USPS mailstream via Priority Mail and is projected to arrive October 2nd.

I'll believe that when....

I received mine yesterday and yes, the heart is scuffed. But otherwise its in great condition. It's making my work day today brighter than it has been in awhile .

Jsut came home from work. CD & Vinyl are in ! My kids made a little set-up and even bought a goofy plasma lamp

The packaging is really amazing ! A lot attention to detail...those boxes with the peace sign are awesome

Ordered from the estate and got mine today the CD set and it is beautiful 😀
