Have you ever heard Deboraarobed by Tyrannosaurus Rex? Marc Bolan's vocal style is so off-the-wall that, the first few times I listened to it, I didn't even realize that the song starts playing backwards halfway through

"Visions" sounds alot like some of his father's music that was released.

That's because we're so used to BODP the way it was released in 1987. And because it's a classic. I'm actually surprised it works so well (i.e. I expected something worse).

Because that song is completely chaotic and goes in too many directions. I'm not sure what Prince's intent was.

I don't get why they ucluded a live studio version of Power Fantastic and not a studio version, I mean there are almost a minute intro of Prince giving instructions before we get into the song.

BTW I hadn't paid attention to the fact thatthe sitar version of SRS was included, I thought it was just the remix, but it's a great version better than the album version, which to me it was already great.

The studio version was released on The B-Sides and Howe has a big hard on for revealing the mystery behind Prince

well, i think the riff and the melody of it that the horns are playing in TBODP are amazing on their own.
He should have use that riff on some other song.

One of the better tracks on this release; not groundbreaking, but at least above average, and certainly not filler. It's like 'She's Just a Baby', 'Next Time Wipe the Lipstick Off Your Collar', 'Neon Rendezvous' (1984 rehearsal), 'Empty Room', 'Crucial', 'Cosmic Day', 'Adonis & Bathsheba', '9-to-5 People', and 'I Guess i'm Crazy' thrown in a blender, but with a clear pop ballad bent.

I just reversed Nevaeh Ni Ecalp A using an online gizmo (3PM) - wow! if a'll want another version I suggest you do the same - basically an W&L accapella version with church like organ. A nice little 'hidden in plain sight' bonus track!

Agree, they add a nice flavour even though the original also works stripped down.

Like a different song but they do seem to work too.

They did the best they could to my taste.

"Witness 4 the prosecution" (version 1) stands out (Church chorus is a killer)

"Can i play with U?" version leaves me a bit confused after listening previuous versions

"Power Fantastic" (studio live) the intro is a trip

Wonderful Day works better with Wendy and Lisa, I feel their vocal melodies definitely add something to it.
