Carmen Electra said in a late 90's interview that P made her cry when he told her she was gaining weight.

.

That's called tough love. And it's SHOW business. "This is a bidness! And you ain't too far gone to see that yet".

.

You never saw Prince get fat during his career...Never.

.

Carmen's main job was to look hot. If she was failing doing that job, she needed to be reprimanded or fired. Or helped to lose weight, which P probably did.

There were no pounds to knock off. It was a control thing.

so she was his slave not his wife....I get it..

Interesting to read the male reactions vs. the female reactions over the female weight control issue...

those last 2 years worth of shows, were still better than most. don't act like the Revolution never messed up whether that be live or in rehearsal cause i have plenty of examples of them messing up. 3EG was still good. i do think hannah was more a rock drummer than a funk drummer. i wish he just repurposed his songs for rock formats than trying to get them to play funk music. outside of ida it fell short most times.

Hanna did say she messed up a drum part once and Prince told her "don't ever do it again". I gotta believe he was more lenient on Hanna and Donna because they weren't top notch players. I always felt bad for Donna because she obviously couldn't hold a candle to Prince in the guitar department. Sometimes he would let her take the solo but she was usually cool with him taking the lead.

who spent enough time in the studio to know what they're talking about.
The only dollars he took from his musicians were for the "No Swear" Cookie Jar.

Mark and Morris H. say otherwise.

i was listening to 2015 Louisville recording and

during the song 1999

i noticed that keyboard player dont know how to play 1999 synth riff.

Keyboardist in question was Josh .In the past Prince was fining

his band members for every single mistake, but in 2015 you hear

Prince perform his big hit song

with a synth riff played incorrect.

Did Prince loosen up at the end regarding his tight band leadership?

Are you CERTAIN Josh COULD not play it? I MUST ask because over the years I've read orgers claiming that such or such Prince bandmember (and Prince himself, sometimes) couldn't play, which was always just plain trolling or utter stupidity from people who had no clue. Now IDK how good a keyboard player Josh was, maybe he got a free pass, but I must ask. I believe I have this Louisville show but I'm on a holiday so I can't check for myself.

be careful when you tell the truth about Wendy...her loyal defense force at this site is large in numbers...and they aggressively defend any delusions of grandeur that Wendy has, or has had..😎
