The more I think about it the more I like this idea of 7" boxes. Makes more sense than the 4 album set they did with "1999". I like this and can't wait for it to arrive. Glad I ordered it first day!

PS: I have a 45 adapter tattooed on my arm smile

Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for.

Already listed on Ebay for $300 or best and $450 or best. There's a few others for a bit less.

Welcome to "the org", Mumio…they can have you, but I'll have your love in the end nod

Question,

There are only 1987 copies made.

We pay more or less € 100 / $ 100 a box.

That's appr. 198.700 $ or €, right ?

-

How much does is cost for the production of it all;

70.000 or 90.000 $/€ ?

includes working hours like for research, +mastering, +pressing the units,

+shipping costs, +design, etc

So, they don't get all that much in the end.. right?

shares for both Third Man Records & The Estate...

Or am I completely wrong here ?

-

second question :

could they press more units afterwards ?

knowing that they will be sold for much more on Amazon for instance...

Talked myself out of ordering this confused I'm not a collector as such so I couldn't really justify it at this time but it does look nice.

One of the few times I did an impulse buy. So glad I did seeing it sold out so fast.

I had this box set in my basket when they were still available and decided against it, as I knew I wouldn't really play it. I then thought about buying it to resell at a profit later on but in the end decided I would rather have a real fan buy it for a (semi) reasonable price.

RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

HEY YA'LL....as most of you probably know, this 7" box is sold out and people are already hocking it on Ebay. I had it in my cart but was waiting until I got home on my compter to order and it was GONE! Does anyone think they'll open up selling more of these? Or did anyone purchase multiple copies and may be willing to give one of them up? I am super bummed about missing out!

Yep. And no big hole means I can't put them in my jukebox!

They might be the version with the knock out for the 1.5" hole.

Alternatively, there are cutters available for doing it. For example:

I have a dinker but I tend to not use it except on old 45s.
