Every time I see or hear the name Bob, I automatically have this urge to say "Bob....spell that shit backwards, what´s it say? Same motherfucking shit." but most people don´t get it and don´t find it very funny.

I just can´t help it.

My husband sleeps face down...still don't get how he breathes, but that is another matter...but there have been more than a few times when I wake up and start with:

"Somebody once told him that he wouldn't take Prince through the ringer..."and finish the verse...and he's like HUH?? Everytime.

I also do the BOB thing everytime I hear the name. BOB spell that shit backwards...same motherfucking shit...I hear it in my head. Can't exactly say it outloud in all circumstances.

Personally, I'm gonna agree with ^^^Benni^^^ and go with "How Many Birthdays Did U Have? ONE" since I use it in real life a lot as a reason I forget to celebrate them, fail to care enough when someone has one or even bother to recognize mine.

Also, Prince was right. I use that line of his in every day life more than any song lyric or anything else I can think of.

I don't celebrate most holidays either, unless I have a reason to find them fun. I'm not a JW or anyhing so it has nothing to do with religous beliefs or anything like that. I loathe Xmas for the most part (mostly due to the commercialism, expense and overall stress), don't care much about New Year's, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day or July 4th and generally find most of the other "holidays" to be made up by greeting card companies.

I enjoy Halloween because I like making costumes for me and my son and the overall weirdness of it but, for the most part, a Holiday for me is just a paid day off. People think I'm odd in this regard and they may be right but I refuse to really care. When I was married, EVERY HOLIDAY needed to be celebrated, which made it more work than it was worth, less fun and relaxing and, worse, cut into days where I SHOULD BE chilling out for a change. Instead, we had to decorate, grill, go somewhere, etc. It was mostly a drag - especially The Big Ones (family, travel, traffic, etc).

I remember seeing a Prince aftershow for the first time (Nov 2000) on Thanksgiving Eve in Atlanta, GA. I met my future (now ex) wife there. He was asking people what Thanksgiving meant to them and passing the mic around. Folks were going on about Native Americans and what have you...all the normative PC answers...I never got the mic but my answer was ready:

"Right now, Thanksgiving, to me, means I have tomorrow off and I can listen to you and the NPG jam ALL NIGHT LONG!"

Thanksgiving Dinner the next day involved a massive hangover LOL.

So, yeah. I had ONE birthday. It'll be on my gravestone, assuming I get one of those.
