Dang P, I know you can't read this but you could have left a Will and helped some middle class or poor folks or both instead these Vultures getting this much money:

A recent probate court document chronicling expenses for the year ending Jan. 31, 2019, shows that Comerica, the Dallas-based bank administering the estate, got $1.5 million in fees. Troy Carter, Comerica’s L.A.-based entertainment consultant and Lady Gaga’s former manager, received $2 million. And Fredrikson & Byron, the Minneapolis law firm working for Comerica, took in $3.8 million.

Troy Carter: 2 million! That seems excessive.

I expect the lawyers to gouge.

I agreee. But...

Replace Troy Carter, and the new replacement will ask even more.

That's how it goes in the good old US of A.

Live with it, or stand up.

(It's called unfair distribution of wealth;

a crooked $-system with unbalanced poor taxrates, and less involvement of gouvernement.)

Reap what you sow.

-

More participation and decisions (and money) for the heirs is imho not a good idea.

They didn't do anything to get Prince where he got.

I believe that Comerica (as far as i'm well informed) is not a bad solution.

It could've been a lot worse. Think about it.

Oh, I am fine with Comerica and am happy his heirs are not in charge, but I was really surprised at the fee Troy Carter is charging "for his labor of love."

I think a True Legit Signed Will with a couple of good witness and a Excellent Lawyer could have cut out a lot of this shafting!

Anybody know what Comerica got in:

2016?

2017?

2018?

2019:

Comerica, the Dallas-based bank administering the estate, got in fees: $1.5 million

Troy Carter, Comerica’s L.A.-based entertainment consultant and Lady Gaga’s former manager, received: $2 million

Fredrikson & Byron, the Minneapolis law firm working for Comerica, took in: $3.8 million

Total Comerica involvement here: $7.3 Million

I'm not upset with Comerica's involvement, noboby with functional knowledge is going to work their butts off for free or even cheaply and do you well, folks need to quit. But the whole not handling first things first seems to be eating up a sizeable portion of the money, because there always seems to be some major hiccup with the corner cutting, then the deal goes bad or something totally unforeseen happens then you have to backtrack, clean up the mess then get stuff back on track, it bleeds money unneccessary.

I'm not sure why people are so damn worried about someone else's money. Why should anyone care how much of it goes to the lawyers, to Comerica, or anywhere else for that matter? Prince isn't here to earn nor spend it anymore and he left these things the way he wanted them to be. It's not our money, we have no say at all. It's the heirs problem, not ours.

Welcome to "the org", Mumio…they can have you, but I'll have your love in the end nod

That is a lot of money. Does anyone know how much the estate grossed last year? Maybe the estate made a lot, so that's why their cut is large.

Sure is and add their 2016, 2017, 2018 cut and that would be a Bigger Grand Total banked off of the "No Will"... confused smile

For those of you who do not read the Estate files, I would encourage you to do so.

This affidavit outlines what Comerica has been doing on a day to day basis for the last several months.

It is a huge undertaking.

SNJ filed a motion to be awarded a portion of the Estate.

They argue the other heirs sold out, and are financially fluid but they are not because they have held out on selling part of their inheritance even though they have been offered buyouts.
