Are they all (obviously) remastered ?

I bought a few last year. For Musicology & 3121 the vinyl sound MUCH better than than the original releases as they are not brickwalled. The Rave 2CD/DVD set were exactly the same as the originals.

I expect similar with these.

I'm not a technical expert, but,

Is it because these (2000's and later material) are digitally recorded, thus in beter shape?,

compared to his 80's analog 'on tape' recordings (with hiss and all)?

Again, I'm not an expert...

But is there still need to 'remaster' digitally recorded stuff ?

Cause if that's the case, I suppose it all just go through sort of an equaliser or something like that... to 'fatten it up' ?

(Like the Dr. Dré's beat's headphones.

They fuck up the original sound (like you're drunk or took acid)...

Someone told me they are wonderful, it's like a remastering of the sound for every song... bull's excrements.)

It's a wonderful album, and I will be glad to have it on vinyl.

-

Couldn't they kept the horrible cover art for the inner sleeve ?

-

I never liked this cheap computer drawing mash-up.

What's with the birds nest anyway ?

Same goes for the symbol comming out of a blue egg, with a sunflower and fresias ?

The original back sleeve art (Prince's then new piano) would've been a much beter front cover art I believe... (imho of course)

The digital masters for the 2000s albums can't be just directly pressed to vinyl with no changes whatsovever. That would not sound good at all, and these records sound great and definitely without the brickwalling heard on the CDs. The Rave CD reissues sound exactly the same as the originals.

Not dead, not in prison, still funkin'...
