AFAIK, the Emancipation reissues are all uncensored. Any "clean" version should be labeled as such. If it's not, you should be good to go.

Yep, that’s the import version I was talking about. I just went ahead and bought it. Interestingly, when I first saw it today, it was about $60.31, when I bought it a couple of hours later it was $63.41, and then you saw it for $65.46, and I just clicked your link and now Amazon shows it as $67.87. I’ve heard that Amazon does that sometimes, but it’s my first time experiencing price increases like this in one day.

Ok, does it list it as an import? I didn't see that it did, just the "UK" in the seller name so I wasn't sure.

I guess I’m misusing the term “import” in some way. Since Amazon describes it as “International product from outside the United States,” I figured that by definition makes it an import. But you probably mean something else, like a different version or something. What does “import” mean to you, in terms of music? I’m happy to be educated on this.

No, you're probably right. It's just usually the description indicates such and unless I missed it this one doesn't.

To me it's an import if it's pressed and released in another country, and it probably is the UK release since the seller's name indicates as much. If so, yeah it's an import.

I just mean weird in that the metallic embroidery makes them seem a bit "fancy," for my style of dress, which tends to be a bit more low key.

I bought the black T-shirts with small golden logo and the one with 'Controversy' cover pic,

also the black sweater with the golden 'Purple Rain - Prince' typo last year when they came out.

They are absotely fabulous !

I often get positive remarks from people everywhere.

I never ever wore a Prince T-shirt in my life - thought it was too much.

I did not wanted to be that 'fan'. Still considder 'fan' something weird.

ANd by the way, I never EVER wear a visible/readable brand.

Now i'm way over 50, I couldn't care less.

The thing for me is 'classy' T's or sweaters are very hard to find.

This collection is just great and pretty much stylish.

Never liked the Prince-sign-logo, or 'NPG' as such on a T.

But his name, 'Prince', yeah. That's cool.

Thanks, purplemode! I was so psyched for this info. I was all ready to order, so as not to miss the deadline for the discount. Just before, I took a look at my email inbox, and miracle (well, they did say something about the end of January!), the Estate came through!! Super Deluxe 1999 is on its way and I went to bed in a happy purple reverie.
