Prince and George Lucas?

These two visionaries were apparently fans of one another.

Prince referred to himself as the Purple Yoda.

George hired Prince to play his wedding.

Any more information?

"I want to talk about something that I really believe connects us all, something that w all have in common: We've all danced to music by Prince," she said at the annual New York Women in Communications luncheon. "You could've been dancing in your car, you could've been at prom, maybe it was a bar mitzvah, maybe you were just alone in the privacy of your own bedroom, but we've all been moved — literally, physically moved — by this remarkable artist.

Lucas was more tight with MJ, who would casually attend their staff picnics at the height of his fame.

You spoke to George? You're certain he's not a fan? Not even after he played at his wedding?

We have evidence that she is a fan, interviews. We have no evidence that he is a fan. So it's likely that he hired prince for her, but that still doesn't mean that he is a fan.

Maybe it's just wishful from your side that he's a fan, because you're a fan of him (George Lucas).

George Lucas surely bought is wife a few dresses, maybe even lingerie. But that doesn't make him a fan of lingerie, or even a crossdresser.

You can read and understand English right? I said "apparently." Apparently does not mean absolutely.

I'd say there probably is a chance that if his wife is a fan that he could be also?

Or maybe not?

Having evidence doesn't make anything more or less true.

We have no evidence that he is NOT a fan.

For the heck of it, I'd think that having Prince play your wedding might actually make one a fan.

Or perhaps you just want to be argumentative and show how smart you are and how stupid I am for suggesting he might be a fan?

Perhaps you want to start some kind of fight on here? Is that your objective?

I started a thread for people maybe to contribute some fun and useful information.

I totally understand why you've created this topic. You're obviously a fan of Prince and George Lucas, and WANT Mr. Lucas to be a fan of Prince. It would be cool, it would make you happy and you could proudly tell all your friends that the great George Lucas is a fan of Prince. And I have no problem with that.

But we don't have evidence. One interview where he clearly states that he is a fan would be enough. Then we could rest this case.

And no, just because his wife is a fan doesn't mean anything. Men do a lot to please their wife, girlfriends, love interests. Even things that they don't like or even hate.

And no, I don't want to start a fight. I'm just arguing, while you just speculate.

English is not my first language, and I'm far from being very good at it. I hope I could make myself clear.

You are so incredibly presumptuous and pretentious.

Never in a million years would I proudly tell my friends that ....... You think you know what I want? You are so far off from the truth that it is just funny.

And you OBVIOUSLY want to argue.

That is your only intention.

Have a good life.

Prince should have been a jedi with the purple lightsabre... but maybe that would have been a Holiday special part2 wink

Rather flimsy evidence of either being a fan of the other.
