Long-time Prince fan back after many years I'm not sure where to post this but I wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I've been a Prince fan since 1978. I saw him play at the Long Beach Arena and the Universal Amphitheater in the early 80's (Triple Threat Tour) as well as the Purple Rain tour and the Lovesexy Tour and the Musicology Tour.
I was a member here on Prince.org under a different user name (Rainbowgirl) in the mid nineties but could not find my old login information. I was a member of the NPG Music Club and I attended a fan gathering at Paisley Park in 2004 with a bunch of wonderful people I met on this forum. It was the time of my life that weekend, especially the part where some kind people helped me up on stage so I could dance with Prince and other fans.
I miss him so much but have been heartened lately by digging out and dusting off some of my old CD's (like Crystal Ball) and some original LPs and Maxi-singles that I just unboxed from my garage after more than 30 years.
Looking forward to the 1999 Super Deluxe release and the autobio comi ng soon.

Thanks . . .yeah I was a member way back in day . . . didn't log in for years . . . forgot my user name once and password . . . but I lurked around occasionally.
All I know is that being a part of this community back in 2004 gave me the opportunity to come to Paisley Park with other NPG Music Club members for a great weekend of activities and to see Prince perform on the sound stage for two (or was it three?) nights (or should I say mornings?). | |
