Purple Rain 40th Anniversary would be the right time for a Super Deluxe. Anything before that would be a bit annoying for those that bought the 2015 release.

A Super Deluxe for every album is the best case scenario if 1999 is a prototype

.

I couldn't care less about the £16.- I paid for Purple Rain "Deluxe" if that release would become obsolete tomorrow because a new, real deluxe set is on the way. I say bring it on, the sooner the better – and I can't imagine many fans being annoyed about a more comprehensive, better quality rerelease.

Same here. Do it right, and I'll pony up. But it wouldn't break my heart if a few other Super Deluxes came along first.

Yep, there is no saturation point for Purple Rain, people will scoop it up, be it this year, next year, 5 years, Purple Rain always sells. A super deluxe of that album would the holy grail releases imo.

I'd rather have collection of all the shows he played there, not just from '81 til '87.

People... what is this unhealthy obsession with a dying format? If videos are to be released physically, do we agree it should be bluray rather than comparatively poor resolution DVD? These old grainy videos have enough artifact in them already without adding more digitally on DVD.

Love the idea of live videos and releases though...

I don't know who is more dumb! Warners or the people running the Estate!

To release a DVD is pathetic!

All parties involved clearly don't know how video/film production works.

If they are released, I'll be waiting at the door day one. Pre-ordering, even. This is more than I could have ever hoped for.

The most important thing to know about Prince, is to know his music. That's why I feel so strongly about the guy's mark on popular culture.

Also, there's way more to him than "Purple Rain", if you know people who know of Prince, that's the hardest hill to climb.

I'm here for it all. Keep it coming, because this man's work needs to live well beyond his time on Earth.

`Stawks` are overvalued these days and solely intended to speculate; they do not show the actual value of a company anymore.

The will crash horrendously.
