You can be fairly certain of that, but to compare those two to some tripe like TGRES is insane to me. "So Far, So Pleased" is even more pop friendly than "Baby Knows", which could have straddled both pop and urban markets (as Prince tended to do regularly).

The melody of The Greatest Romance is incredibly catchy to me, it has a complicated yet very "hooked" melody. The middle eastern flavored hints and changes flow, and the chirus expands out. I even remember one of my non-Prince-listening friend saying "This is a pretty cool little song". And that was from a truly non Prince fanatic that liked a handful of the old hits.
