I went. It was a good party! She also told her story of how she came to work for Prince. They had a give away of tote bags to 6 unsuspected attendees. 2 of them got up on stage to have a dance off. 4 people got up and played Finish That Phrase. They played a Prince song for each contestant and each one had to finish the line in the song. It was pretty fun to watch. They had the T-bird from Alphabet Street on display in the sound stage area.

She is back this Saturday night. DJ Mike Mack were there a couple of weeks ago. He started DJing for Prince in the late 80s and early 90s when Prince held his parties in the atrium before the NPG Music Club was even built! It is really cool to go to each of these and hear a bit of the stories that they share. Mitch and Heidi are fun hosts/MCs of these parties. I go to them as much as possible. They have been holding the after parties 2 times a month. I am usualy one of few locals that attend. Most are from out of state or the country.
