Dave pissed a lot of people off with this one from what I heard. The media (and the sheep they've indoctrinated) is starting to rally against him for not cosigning their narratives.
Dave Chappelle reminded us that there are still SANE liberals alive today! I can’t thank him enough. Also, I loved that story Dave told with Obama at the end of the Epilogue. That was sweet and wholesome

Five of us laughed our white asses off at this special...except for one part.
A sane liberal does not tell a woman he impregnated that he will never support the child and that she must get an abortion.
But i'm not going to cancel Dave about that.

It's been happening more and more. The critics are judging art for political correctness. The audience is judging it based on entertainment. Rotten Tomatoes is irrelevent.

The latest example is the new Rambo movie. Critics hate it, the audience likes. Guess I'll have to see it! lol

Oh look, one of Chappelle's "jokes" is used to justify transphobic policy: https://twitter.com/ndrew...1926233088 . Funny stuff. Hilarious.

Where's the lie?

If I tried to say I was Napoleon, nobody would respect that. If I dressed like him and expected everybody to treat me as if I was actually him, people would mock me. If I tried to get into government meetings because I felt like a world leader, people would rightfully think I was mentally ill and in need of help.

Yet I can become a caricature of a woman and not only does everybody has to respect that but they have to grant me access to women only programs and spaces. Everybody has to grovel at my feet and do exactly what I say or they're a transphobic bigot. Especially cis white females.

Many people changed their name. Most people do respect that. Even Prince got some respect eventually after he changed his name to something most people couldn't write, much less pronounce. (I'm happy he changed back though)

A troll is a troll is a troll. Do you treat people on how you perceive them or do you do a genital inspection with everybody? If you think someone is a man, but it turns out to be a woman, what do you say? What about the opposite?

.

How is it different wether or not the genitals conform to the gender someone has?

.

And who has to grovel at anyone's feet? So now we have to let you be an inconsiderate jerk without calling you on it? Why would you get that benefit? Why are you special? You get called on your bullshit just like the rest of us. Live with it, you snowflake.

People can change their name. People can't change the reality of the situation. No matter how much I may feel like a different gender or race or person, changing my name and outfit doesn't turn me into that person.

Prince is the perfect example. He wanted people to imagine that Prince was dead and he was this whole new person with a symbol for a name...and it destroyed his career. Nobody was willing to respect what he wanted because what he wanted was so far outside the norm that they couldn't even humor him.

Cassius Clay is another example. He changed his name to Muhammad Ali and eventually people were able to come around because it was only his name that changed. He was still a man, still black, still a boxer, still the same individual. All that changed was what people called him and that name wasn't wildly different than the average muslim name. People could deal with that.

Reading comprehension is your friend, friend.

I'm saying that trans individuals become caricatures of women and that they demand to set the rules. They get to go into all the same places as women do, no matter how inappropriate or uncomfortable they make biologicial women feel. They get the access to all the same programs that are meant to help biologicial women. Their feelings trump biologicial women's feelings. If you disagree with any of the above, you're a transphobic bigot, in their eyes.

I think most people will call any person that's dressed like a woman by female pronouns. The problem becomes when they have ridiculous pronouns and demand that you pretend that they're identical to a biologicial woman. We've already seen lawsuits over not being allowed in women's shelters (you know, where physically abused biologicial women seek assistance), lawsuits against biologicial women for not wanting to give a bikini wax to a trans woman's "feminine" penis and testicles, anger over people pushing back against trans people that don't even attempt to pass as their chosen gender.

It's a sexual fetish and control thing. Society doesn't have to put up with that or go along with their delusions.

And I am saying that "woman" in our society is a role, not something biological, although there is a large overlap. It never was and isn't in most parts of the animal kingdom, definitely not the part that humans are part of. You assume that the "woman" role and the biological "woman" (confusingly named, I'll give you that) are the same. You seem to have a problem with being told that your assumption is wrong. The problem is yours and trying to move our society to one where your assumption is made law (or even the norm) is tilting at windmills and a battle that is lost before you begin it.

.

Having said that, as with any issue where things aren't black and white but shades of grey, there are confusing corner cases and rude and pigheaded people on all sides.

.

As to Dave's standup show, I feel he made some good points and some bad ones. This happened to be one where he's wrong.
