I don't think he hated the album, he just thought it was evil and shelved it.
If he really hated it he wouldn't have used some songs for teh Lovesexy tour even tho they fit thematically.

As to the Black Album... I think he wanted it to be bootleged. After all he did what I would consider the 2 darkest song on the Lovesexy tour.... I do not know how he can think it so evil!?

Which is exactly what it says in the article.

I read the article and it didn't say anything about him playing the songs on the Lovesexy tour and I was referring to the topic name:'Nine artists who hated their own albums - Black Album'

The Lovesexy tour was about redemption through god. The first part was about the evil that is overcome in part two. Which is why it was so scripted and why musically the experience was such a let down after the Under The Cherry Moon tour and the Sign of the Times tour.
