Im happy to get that dvd thats the seoncd show. Its amazing we finally get an 'official' 1999-era concert release. I've always craved this era concert dvd because it was not the bloated Purple Rain tour. This 1999 tour is where he was on the razors edge of becoming a legend and the audience knew it. The futuristic stage and lighting? Oh man.

Prices when just announced are always higher. It will come down eventually to 40 dollars I think. It s just 2 cd more than PR deluxe, which cost 25 dollars

Purple Rain drastically dropped in price from the announcement to the release. It'll probably happen here too. I'd guess $35ish for the CDs.

Yeah, so maybe they (estate etc.) saw the criticism over the previous official release and remedied the issue with the song. However, while most will be watching the dvd, 30 of the org will be on their special headphones like listening for a click when breaking into a safe, scrutinizing the song lol

Completely agree that it doesn’t take away from this epic release. you don’t think these 2 tracks we’ll ever receive an official release? Someone commented early that they were being saved for a standalone Vault release. But I’m hoping for a stand-alone single release that doesn’t link the tracks directly to this new album release. That way people can choose whether to purchase a track with rape lyrics or not.

With the moral politics going on these days, I doubt those songs will be released.

Would have been perfect to have the Super Deluxe price at $199.99
