TRC was Prince TOTALLY in the zone. Absolutely love that record.

i agree.. very underrated..
"Everywhere"
"Last December"
"Family Name"
a lot of nice Guitar solos & a live organic
sounding feel to it.
Prince wasn't trying to make a pop record.
It was a concept album nicely done.
i even like the " One Night Alone" album as well
i liked that 2001/2 period

There are people that don't like One Nite Alone piano CD? Wow, I mean it doesn't get any more intimate than that. A week doesn't go by where that CD is played from start to finish.

Agree and I love how you can hear his footsteps as he's leaving.

I listen to this cd quite often and there's only one song I tend to skip.

The title track and Pearls B4 The Swine are a couple of my favourites.

"Like a bird I'll keep on singing",,,,,,, the only problem is I sound just like Edith from 'Allo 'Allo!

They might have meant the One Nite Alone live set. That seems to get more dislike around here. But like you, I'd be surprised if they meant the piano CD, not heard anyone say they don't like that one.

I'm not a big fan of the One Nite Alone album. Intimate doesn't neccessary mean good.
