I could never hear .... again and I’d be fine

Nothing Compares 2 U

I loveeeeed The Family version and still do. Only thng is, that never gets played. I loved Sineads version. I disliked Rosie n Princes version as she Aretha Franklin-ed it, which I felt was not needed and also it was the live version. Since it became a hit with Sinead O'Connor, Prince/Warner Bros etc have been shoving it down peoples throats trying to make his version a thing. I FINALLY enjoyed it a few times when I dirged through it a few years ago since, but now they are acting like thats THE definitive Prince classic ballad. F that.

And now theyre putting an extra version on Target release like thats the cut that deserves such attention.

"Thieves In The Temple". A terrible, horrible song. I'm disappointed as a fan that it ever made the top ten.

A close number two is "Little Red Corvette". I don't hate it, but I heard it SO MUCH during its heyday that it hold no specialness for me anymore.

It’s just not to my taste. Until I heard that song, I thought Prince couldn’t make a bad track.

Perhaps a bit of a controversial one, but I could happily go the rest of my life without hearing Purple Rain. Great song but I've heard it far too many times.

Kiss is another song I'd gladly do without.

Lots of people are tired of PR. For years.. But I still find it sublime.
