Oh look, the website has an update: http://hismajestyspop.000...stapp.com/

.

Book Update, 29th June 1019: We have been given exclusive access to brand new information and access to master tapes which show previously unknown songs and recordings

.

Yes, it does say "1019". They couldn't even get that detail right in this one-line update.

Maybe the book will have a chapter or two about the buffoons who put the wrong speed for LRC and Raspberry on the Double Vinyl with the same name. 14,000 records pressed up with mistakes. Par for the course for Warners, the Estate, and the world of Quality Control.

I've asked twice already but no-one answered, so I'll try again: can someone who has the original Japanese edition of HMPL confirm whether they have the same issue (2 songs having been transferred at slightly wrong speeds) or not?

Why do you keep posting a link that doesn't supply an answer?

The number of errors on that ONE page is shocking!!!!

It only takes a minute to review what has been written and fix typos, punctuation and formatting errors.

I can only assume the book will be just as bad!

no no no!

That's the problem. The book claims to be about facts and catalogue, but putting aside that I don't want a book mentioning "Puprle Rain" and the unreleased "Barcelona 2 Chicago" album, I can't possibly trust their facts if they can't even spell. It's a pity because the project sounds promising, but if they'd just cut the crap, proofread their shit and come here talk to us -the core audience- and tell us who they are and what the book's about that makes it special, I'd be more than willing to send my money. But I wasn't even born in the year 1019 so I guess unless I get a time machine I can't possibly purchase the book anyway. Middle-Age folks are gonna have a ball reading about this artist from 900 years in the future, though... sigh
