Unreleased tunes on repeat

I'm digging on "If It'll Make U Happy" and "Yah, You Know" right now! Those would be great on any 1999 Deluxe release! I love the reggae stylings of "Happy" and the dated 80's sound of "Yah" which would sound cool, today!

What are y'all bumping?

That very long rehearsal version of Noon Rendezvous is often on repeat for hours.

I also listen to the I Would Die 4 U early rehearsal version very often.

Electric Intercourse, First Ave August´83.

I listen to that one at least three or four times a week. It is so magical. In my opinion one of the most beautiful pieces of music he ever recorded.

And what I find so amazing did they ever play that during the tour ? And man-o-man I hope they had the cameras running and that there is a copy in the vault. I’d hate to think that the only people to ever c that were the few folks setting up chairs on the field cool

Coco Boys. I have no idea why, but that song is like crack.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Right?

For me, it´s the familiar elements (the intro part from U Got the Look and Hot Thing) , the humor (him trying to mimic the horns), the sudden falsetto part in that one line....these are the ingredients that come to mind when I wonder why I like that song so much even though the lyrics and the song in general are not that great, but yes, it is definitely addictive.

Yep. I couldn't quit listening when I first heard it. The part where he mimicks the horns cracks me up everytime.

This is a rehearsal right? Without a packed stadium? With Prince as a bandleader? If yes on all questions, why isn’t he regarded the greatest artist since 1955? This is an unreal recording. What the fuck couldn’t he do?!?!

Yes, yes, and yes ! lol

That rehearsal is pure magic. That version of Something in the Water has healing powers. I listen to it very, very often and still can´t get enough of it.

His rehearsals sound better than other people´s whole albums.

Feline. Awesome song. I think this would been a great fit for the Black album.
