Don't mean to be critical, but after watching that clip I completely understand why Prince or WB did not pursue the protege thing with her. I think it goes deeper than that at this time. The infantilizing of teens over the past few decades (as you mentioned previously with what went on in war times) has resulted in a whole generation of 30 year olds unable to move out of Mom and Dad's basement. Most teens had jobs at 14, back in the day. Now they have selfies and can't hold a face-to-face conversation because they're too distracted by their phones. Attention span of 4 seconds.

the language skils is a major one, if you ever listen to some of these young people speak, they don't even sound fluent. lots of "uh's" and breaks in conversation because they haven't done much of it I presume. A couple weeks ago I watched a docu from the 70's about new york streetkids, many people in the comments spoke of how these uneducated kids spoke better than normal kids today, it was true. These kids today sound a little retarded to be honest.

Mayte lived in another country prior to three months before her 18the when she joined his band as a dancer, & moved into her own apartment in mpls.
She said out of her own mouth they didn't have sex until she was 19.

Anna said they slept next to each other for a few weeks before her 18th, & that they only cuddled, & that he didn't touch her sexually until her 18th. In a state where legally he could've been engaging in sexual activities with her since she was 16.
