Gold? (meh) Not necessarily introspective but I'd also throw Phermone, The Undertaker & a live version of Adore (SF Fillmore from 04 off the top of my head)

Fingers crossed theres some additional aftershow footage from the Camden 88 aftershow floating around, any footage from this era would blow minds. Will we hear/see The Rebels recordings & other side projects as well? The possibilities are staggering.

Yep. It’s also called entertainment. That’s the business he was in and what we all enjoyed about him. Whether it be books, records, shows, all of it.

The Undertaker - about gun violence, violence on TV, and Crack Cocaine leading to an early death:

*

Put away the guns for future's sake
Don't you be another number for the undertaker
Put away the guns for future's sake
Don't you be another number for the undertaker

*

Turn off the violence, there's children watching
Listen to the silence, it's a better box to be in

Don't go with the crack

Right, but I think Prince's use of the word Undertaker in the song lyric is relating to the guns and drugs "taking you under" - as in putting you "six feet under", or causing your early death. He was the master of spinning words or using word-play to create a certain message within his lyrics.

Sounds to me like ava is trying to do something similar to The Beatles' "Anthology" series.

In which case I hope Warners or whoever is in charge of the music releases accompaniment compilations that have vault material shown in the doc
until then i'll pretend this fuchsia light is god...

This looks pretty awesome. Prince filmed or / documented pretty much everything from what I understand. Should be really really interesting. I assume people will find something to get riled up about, but hey, that's people. I for one am looking forward to it.

I agree....

great setlist, I agree! thumbs up!

Great songs all of them.... (minus "One Song", that's a bad track imo,)

ur setlist, is cool, however it's NOT gonna happen though, - I believe a lot of live- + tv-performances will be shown

Ok it's my guess,

Netflix, I am not supporting streaming in any way, so I will likely never see this, I would prefer the film in a movie theater (or on TV)..

Damn... (but good luck to the producers).. sad

Netflix & Ava usually have movie theater early viewing premiere showings. Which I'm sure will be ULTRA private screenings that I'll be attending. So I can give a early review here.

Out of curiosity, what's the hardline stance against streaming all about? Seems better than getting ripped off for cable and I'm not sure I see a moeal quandry here.
