I've seen a few more documents where they are pro se instead of an attorney's name.

Only Omarr is represented by an attorney. Actually the one attorney that charged less than the others and is young.

Maybe using a lawyer on some things and not for others? I see on another doc that Omarr(and the other sibs) is pro se but Alfred has a lawyer. I guess their being a little more thrifty with what they are using lawyers for.

The Notice that was filed is incorrect because it has SNJ and Tyka being represented by attorneys.

You are right though, it is Justin Bruntjean who is representing Alfred. So Alfred appears to be the only sibling with an attorney.

How is someone like Carlin paying attorney fees? Does every single copy these people get, their attorney charges some type of fee?

Well the bulk of it is tied up right now in court proceedings but...

They received $100k initially for consulting fees with Paisley Park.

It was supposed to be $25k for each year after the initial payment.

The yearly $25k has been blocked by the attorneys' liens.

I can't truly tell but it appears they are limiting their use of lawyers now.

Why are there attorney liens? I thought the Estate was paying the bills.

No, the Estate is not out of money. Far from it.

I think the last invoice the attorneys submitted was through January 2018.

I also dont think they have been approved by the Judge as there were many objections filed.

Two and a half years and counting. Sooooo much money spent (wasted) on legal fees. It's never going to be "over". Until the money dries up. And it will eventually at this rate. Then what will they do when there is nothing left to fight over. It gets more complicated as time goes on too. Is anything getting sorted, or even close to resolution??

Actually it's not getting more complicated as time goes on.

Most big issues have been sorted out and that is why we rarely see anything filed in Probate Court.

The issues now are whether the fees paid to Londell and Charles should be returned to the Estate and whether Bremer Trust should be allowed to be discharged.

And then will the estate be "settled" once these issues are resolved?

No because the Disbursement will be the final filing in Probate Court.

New filings show Alfred has another new attorney and Bruntjean is out.

The Appellate Court upheld Judge Eide's Order that he will not recuse from the refund motions against Lawnie and Charlie.

Did the non-excluded people take a good look at the recent `white album` release? (some band known as `the beatles` did this recording a while ago)

Did they figure out the essence of a good remaster/reissue/document/... ?

Udo, I just got in the super deluxe White Album re-issue. It is incredible! I still have my original vinyl White Album from 50 years ago, too, so I am very, very happy. But I don't know if there would be enough interest for a Prince version.

.

Can you perhaps please explain the features of the White Album re-issue that you did not yet find in a Prince remaster/re-issue?

In the version I bought, there is a lot of recorded chatter, various song takes - the inner workings of the band as a band. I haven't gone through all of it, but it is quite extensive.

I am curious what will happen with the Galpin properties. I listened to the planning commission meeting as well as the city council meeting last summer and nearby homeowners were not happy about a big housing development coming in. The neighborhoods on the north side of the property (red box on the map below) are more upscale with homes between $600-$900K and a few even over $1M. I’ve driven through that neighborhood and they’re nice houses. Unique, not cookie-cutter at all.

I’m assuming Lennar purchasing the property is contingent on their being able to build on it. Interesting too is the current mayor didn’t win re-election so there will be a new mayor next year. I’m sure the city will eventually approve something but my guess is it will be fewer homes with bigger lot sizes. If I had a million dollar home right up against Lake Lucy I wouldn’t want a developer coming in and building a bunch of cheaper homes that all look the same. I also get why residents don’t want it being developed on at all. It is beautiful walking by there on a fall or winter morning and seeing the deer out. But I get the estate needs money and hanging onto this property wasn’t an option. And no way the city would be able to come up with $20M to buy it.

The difference here is there are two Beatles that are alive and able to control the content.

.

The remaining beatles were involved?

If so, where are the signs of Prince's old band members being actively involved by the Estate people for the process of compiling `new` music releases?

Of course NDA's and such might be employed but what do they matter in a situation where we know most songs? (????!)

“this delay of justice has cost Mr. Patrick over $100,000,000.00 …

in possible revenue due to his inability to access the assets of the estate.”

that much eh Ogeda ? must be relly tough for you... confused

I guess doing a DNA test would be far too efficient a way to clear this mess up..

Lets just add it to all the other mess,s
