I remember first hearing segues on Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814. I didn't know what they were at first. Same overall effect: some were good, some seemed forced.

Would the "radio station tuning" effect on both Musicology and Clouds (playing Prince's older hits) be considered segues? Or would those be considered part of the songs? The tracking would suggest they're part of the songs themselves.

I like it, they always remind me of his wicked sense of humor. He's not ALWAYS funny, but it's cute his lil uncle humour.

On the Rainbow Children, I felt it added to the storyline. I wish the voice wasn't so low registered and dragging, but it added reveal to the story and subject. On the Love Symbol album and most of the others I didn't care for it. The Gold Experience sometimes it was ok others not(TGE reminds me of AOA)...

The Dream Factory would have had little segues, that went from one song to another like neaveH in ecalP A and one or two others. And I love them Power Fantastic intro is wonderful, but not a technical segue?
