This portion from the article says it all:

True Prince fans know the score, and will seek out this heartfelt and intriguing opportunity for collective mourning and joyous celebration of the countless ways Prince changed popular music as we know it. The show is also a chance to hear a full orchestra throw down and maybe, just maybe, introduce someone to the many joys of Prince. Thanks to Thompson, Fischer and the myriad musicians working on the project, we can all have a Crystal Ball. And if it takes using the signifier of “the Symphony” to get some folks to free their minds and get purple with it — well, Paisley Park is in our hearts. Always.

Just got back from the Lauderdale show.

I thought it was great. Went with my wife and 13 year old daughter. There were lots of tears from all of us.

Very well done and appreciated. I was a nice release for me.

Cause tomorrow is taking too long
and yesterday's too far away
and the reality that you believe in begins to bind.
