Dance with the devil is an okay song, but it is highly répétitive, and lack a Real chorus to be really engaging.
.
No Wonder why it didn t make the cut, not even as à B side!

It pre-dates trip hop, doesn't it? Think Massive Attack and the song Teardrop.
The wooh is on the one!

I’m not a lover of Dance With The Devil but nonetheless it’s impressive, certainly dark and would’ve fitted well in the movie

Interesting pick...

Not the first track that came to my mind.

But now that you mention it:

I remember playing the unreleased (full!, without strings) version to afriend a few years ago.

Especially the "Dear Jesus, save us from tempation - Dear Jesus, save us from hell"-part felt really spooky to him...

My first listen was the Clare Fischer version, the orchestra in contrast to his nervous singing all combined gave a sinister feeling, before I even knew what the song meant,,,,the baseline added to the haunting quality too. Hell, everything about the song is beautifully haunting to me.

This thread had me dig up Dance with the Devil. That song should have been on the Batman soundtrack. Maybe it will be on an extended version some day. I'm going to set up my own extended version with this, 200 Balloons, the scandalous sex suite, extended/remix versions of some of the other batman tracks.

What else should be on it. I have 19 (Jailbait), but dont' have Batman Theme. How different are they?

"Race" is about cutting yourself to check the absence of difference, claims we're nothing but walking skeletons.

This the best thing I expect to read all day--and since it's still not even 10:00 AM, that's saying something. Brilliant!
