Athur's presentation about the Lovesexy tour aftershows was a highlight. He showed some never-before-seen photos of Prince taken during the Small Club performance (Prince apparently changed outfits in the middle of the show, starting the show in a pair of sheer black pants!) and gave some great detailed information about how that show went down (Prince's crew seareched the whole club for recording equipment, even unscrewing lightbulbs, but the club employee still managed to secretly hook a recorder to the soundboard.

Arthur had such great energy and deep knowledge of his subject, it was a lot of fun to see. Dr Fink and Cat also mentioned on the first night how they didn't love doing the aftershows (they had to perform basically all night after a 2-hour stadium show, and they really weren't getting paid for it. Cat sometimes just took off back to the hotel instead).

So great you got to attend in person. I watched a good portion live. Anything you want to share that you gleened from being in the room. Or conversation that we missed. The audio during Arthur’s presentation was quite loud so hearing what he was saying during the videos was hard. If you can share that would be great!!

^^i agree!! and i can't blame Cat, good for her for knowing her limits. Poor The DR. on the keys, couldn't quite get away with that!

I've really enjoyed watching the first three videos that have appeared on YouTube. Has anyone seen videos of the final three sessions yet?

Thanks to all who came to the Symposium. I'm glad that many enjoyed my Aftershow presentation. My understanding is that I'll receive video that was livestreamed, so I'll see about pulling the music samples (seemed to be an issue with Warner Bros. -- go figure) and getting it posted somewhere for viewing. /Arthur
