Just saw this on StarTribune site - http://www.startribune.co...480578161/ Prince family suing IL hospital and Walgreens. How will they win this? Every step of the way Prince refused most med treatment availed to him. When a patient refuses help, how can an institution be held liable? [Edited 4/23/18 15:29pm]

What is it saying, I've used up my free views from the Star Tribune.

Instead of doing something, anything to the associates who was a player in the game, they sue the IL hospital and a pharmacy? WTH the pharmacy?

I wonder who they mean by "Family", Tyka and Omarr? Tyka won't do anything against these enablers, because she knows she's one of them, kick their butts and they'll bite yours.

The attorney is saying they will have "much to say" later but only had until April 21, 2018 to file intent due to the 2 year cap.

They have included Walgreens because they say WG dispensed meds to Kirk (prescribed oxy/perc) but the doctor was aware they would be given to Prince.

Hospital included because they only "visually" identified the illicit Hydro and did not run any metabolic tests, or a breakdown of contents, on them.

Tyka was hardly around enough to be an enabler... She had to go through other people just to ask to speak to Prince. lol

This means the autopsy will have to be released to both sides.

I dont see any way around that one....

THAT'S how much respect the fam has for Prince, THAT'S how concerned they are about his dignity and reputation. How hard would it have been for the family to announce that the (let's just say) first 10 million of the proceeds of the estate would go for an addiction center in Prince's name, or building one on the PP site...It's obvious Prince's name will forevermore be associated with drug use and overdosing...why not sieze the high ground and redirect the narrative into something uplifting and long-lasting and worth-while...Oh, I forgot...it's Prince's family.

And while I'm at it...how much fucking money do those low-lifes need?????

Well he did pay a 30k fine and it was never reported by the Minnesota Medical board for any misconduct or malpractice. That's two who will cough up the cash.

No, it wont be made available to the public but if there is a trial it would have to be admitted into evidence. I gotta think this through though so dont quote me.

Just a money grab on the deep pockets. No chance of success, but it'll force a settlement. The Moline hospital system couldn't do anything because the patient refused treatment. And Walgreens? All they did was fill a prescription. Correctly. Suing KJ, MB or whoever else provides no one with deep pockets. I think I'm done with the whole bunch at Paisley Park.

Yeah, going after the hospital and pharmacy is just another money grab. If they really want to get to the bottom of it then where is the lawsuit against Kirk and Phaedra for deleting emails and documents, thereby obstructing justice?

They were too busy kissing them and hugging them, this past weekend. Why isn't anything happening with Sheila for telling Judith to stay quiet?

You know what really needs to happen is, the media needs to grill their asses and ask the hard questions. Not let these people off the hook.

You wanna know what she said over there regarding suicide and Prince's son? "If he didn't have a problem taking Amiir off of life support, he wouldn't have a problem with suicide." Something of that nature. When I read that, I was about to smash the screen of my laptop to little pieces. Laura fits the pattern of certain people who called themselves Prince's friends, it's seems like she has no soul.

eek

Whoever is calling Prince a fraud has no idea, absolutely no fucking idea of the pain this man must have endured, both physical due to dancing/jumping/playing and emotional.

And, the saddest part of all is that Prince could have gotten help. But instead he kept the "yes men" around. If it is true that Prince had doctor's in MN who would give him drugs and also when he was on-tour; I hope one day, they will be exposed. People saying things, but they don't want to give names.......or can't remember.......

pain if it was that bad, would probably have still been there. anyone who has had to deal with real pain wouldn't be saying that shit, or maybe they would, i've always noticed the most screwed up people are the harshest and most judgemental, even when issues they criticize they have too.

How do they get around that? I would think it would be an automatic report? Does the person the infraction affected have to report it to the MMB?

They should be suing Dr. S. not Walgreens, how was Walgreens supposed to know? Why aren't they suing Kirk? Kirk's names are on those scripts and he knew they weren't for him, they have proof of that in the documents.

I said it a couple of threads ago, that they would be suing the hospital because they only visually identified those pills.
