Wait...

What???

"Vavoom" was first on NPGMC.

There was that version.

Then, it was on 'Chocolate Invasion'.

There was THAT version.

No other official releases beside those two!

.

...yeah, still love it

.

"...come on, get a ride, baby..."

lol

.

No, Vavoom was first given to one local Minneapolis radio station. That's the origin of the radio rip, which is different than the version later released via NPGMC.

.

Is it too bloody much to respect the facts presented to you by someone who knows what he's talking about? I should bloody know because I was the first to transcribe the lyrics from the radio version.

.

So it was played on KDWB on 7 or 8 June 2001.

.

And here's T revealing the identity of the porn star whose moans were used: https://groups.google.com...xI5B7-5bwJ .

.

And here's my rough attempt at transcribing the lyrics: https://groups.google.com...oQ94y7zicJ

Thanks for clearing that up!

I knew i'd get it outta ya lol

Prost!

Are you new here?

Yeah. You’re not a true orger until you’ve been abused by Bart. It’s a right of passage. Initiation complete.

Oh, don't worry, many times in the past.

T, for all his greatness, really fucked-up on that one: yet another example of a fanmade version that people believe to be the real deal, and you end-up reading comments about Prince "cleaning up the original version" neutral neutral neutral

T frequently did crap like that, though not as bad, such as reversing stereo channels on his CD-R's

Oh for crying out loud, do I need to explain yet again the history? Vavoom was given to local radio station. Only circulating version was crummy FM rip. The infamous T got a CDR copy of the promo given to the radio station. People didn't believe him, so he posted an MP3 of that pristine promo except he put porn noises all over it to prevent bootleggers to profit from it. (Meanwhile he could use the pristine version to trade for other material from elite collectors.) The later official release of Vavoom is different from the original as played on the radio, includign some lyric changes and some changes WRT the music.

Oh for crying out loud, thank you for crying out loud.

I still like the porno version better. also i dont read everything that Bart posts.
