I have criticized Prince in the past for not having his end-of-life documents in order. However, after reading yet another ridiculous comment from someone who had very little to do with him, I am thinking that, perhaps, this was his way to show the world what he had had to deal with for nearly 40 years ... and he may have hoped they ended up with nothing or next to nothing after all was said and done.

—They are not going to end up with nothing. Comerica and the court maybe the reason they do not end up homeless.

Thangs are heating up! SNJ are asking for Comerica to be removed as the Personal Represenative. I thought they were the ones who recommended Comerica? Anyways, interesting to see how this pans out.

Yes they were and even though Tyka et. al. brought Fiduciary Trust to the table, they agreed to go with Comerica. lol

The Petition SNJ filed at Court to Remove Comerica is all about Lonnie.

They allege Comerica "blatantly" ignores Lonnie and wont allow him

to attend heir meetings.

In the meantime, Equilizer "not Lonnie" come out of hiding to speak up for yourself about how this Petition to Remove Comerica is not all about YOU.

Oh, I forgot it is also about this:

"Comerica has failed to compensate the heirs for the valuable time and expenses and has not made an interim distribution>"

I do not think the judge is going to allow this to happen. I also think (not sure ) but all of the sibs have to agree. How will the court decide to get rid of Comerica if 3 sibs want Comerica to stay and Comerica can show nothing shady is going on. They may have to include numnut in on the proceedings but I do not see them going away.

In other words we are not getting paid. Tried to tell everyone these 3 are all about the money and if Prince had written a will and included them they would be selling everything by now or if he left them out of a will they would have been contesting. I have faith in the court and I think Prince did as well. It will be interesting to see what they try to do when they inherit as the WB deal alone seem purposely confusing. Love to know if they are going to try and mess with it.

In their complaint they are still pissed that the UMG deal was recinded despite the fact that UMG wanted out of the deal. eek

This is a certain business consultant trying to put the breaks on the investigation that Comerica is doing into his conduct.

Some of the things Comerica is working on. Wonder what the bold is about?

: (1) analyzing and negotiating at least five major entertainment transactions; (2) representing the Estate in active litigation in state and federal court in Minnesota (including on appeal), federal court in Rhode Island, and in an arbitration; (3) negotiating an amendment to a current material agreement; (4) managing the Estate’s real property (including working with the insurance company to repair the Turks & Caicos property); (5) reviewing and approving/denying licensing requests on a weekly or more frequent basis; and (6) monitoring and protecting the Estate’s intellectual property rights.

Like I said the heirs are going to have spending money. They also mention he was bring in 2 million a show when he was touring take out expenses and taxes and I bet he was making a 1 million a show.

-------

https://www.forbes.com/sites/zackomalleygreenburg/2017/10/30/princes-earnings-18-million-in-2017/#19946d115b48

The Purple One's earnings took a dip from last year's $25 million total--he passed away while still at the top of his touring game, grossing nearly $2 million per show, which was factored into his final tally.

This year Prince clearly had no live dates, but his haul would have been much greater had a $31 million record deal with Universal not been reversed earlier this year. As is, he still collected millions from a new publishing deal and continued consumption of his music.

I know that MN laws will not recognize the relationship between Duane and Prince. I know I'm the only orger who is rooting for Duane. Here's why. Prince and Duane grew up together as little kids as brothers. They were referred to as brothers in school. Even Kim, Prince's hair stylist, refers to Duane as Prince's brother. Also, the estate is huge and spreading it to one more sibling will not hurt the others. I do hope the heirs will share something with Duane's heirs. Prince's parents took in Duane, presumably to save him from a bad family situation, and that generous action should be recognized. Peace.

Blood is thicker than water. And Duane is dead. His spawn shouldn't be entitled to anything.

Sorry for asking such a noob question, but I'm still trying to figure out the basics here. Basically it's Sharon, John and Norrine (with Londell) vs. Tyka, Omarr and Alfred?

Yes, you are correct and the lot of them agreeed that Comerica could make decisions under 2 million without their approval so this legal action is not going to go anywhere.

Yes, and trying to slow down the investigation into his actions when he was the PA. The findings are due in December. This is a stall tactic but I thinkt the judge will see thru it so it my only buy LM a few weeks.

Comerica notifed the Estate 4 times, did Lonnie not tell his clients? Is he not relaying the messages?

How many times are they going to be able to change the administrators? At this rate the Estate will never be settled.

Lonnie is only their advisor and they have other attorneys representing them on Estate matters.

It appears the John siblings may not be attending all the Heir Meetings.

There is always going to be a 3-3 split on decisions.

I think Comerica has been doing a good job.

By good job, I mean there has not been any lawsuits filed against Comerica in 10 months.

Do you think the judge will let them stay since it is a 3 way split? I am sure Comerica notified the attorneys for the sibs so what do you think the judge will say if the sibs are not attending the meetings or even listening to their attorneys.

The cash register which was Prince has always called their names. Now, with him out of the way, it seems they want their payouts without delay. Hmmm ... I feel sorry for him, because he knew, I am sure, that money was all they wanted from him.
